The Rolls-Royce among diesel engines
Motoren- und Turbinen-Union Friedrichshafen, or MTU for short, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of large-bore diesel engines and complete drive systems, decentralized power plants and fuel injection systems for meeting the most demanding requirements.
MTU is the core brand of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. The company supplies comprehensive, high-performance and reliable engine and propulsion solutions for yachts, commercial, civil and military marine applications, construction and industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, mining, rail and military vehicles, and the oil and gas industry.
MTU also offers its customers individually tailored electronic automation and monitoring systems for engines and drive systems. With more than 30 affiliates and more than 1,200 development, production, service and dealer locations in 130 countries, MTU has a global presence. In Mainz, too, of course.
On behalf of MTU, DGS handles all maintenance work and repairs of the gensets with a special service team in the field – i.e. directly on site at the vehicle or ship.
